1. Educational purpose only

Everything on this website, in our workshops, posters, stickers and downloadable documents is general educational information about road behaviour and civic sense. It is not medical, psychological, legal, insurance, engineering or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for it. It does not diagnose, treat or assess any person’s fitness to drive. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified doctor. If you need legal advice, speak to a qualified lawyer.

2. No guarantee of safety or outcomes

Road safety depends on many things outside our control, including other road users, vehicle condition, road and weather conditions, and each person’s own choices. We aim to encourage responsible behaviour, but we do not promise that attending a workshop or using our materials will prevent any accident, injury, loss or traffic offence, or that it will change any person’s behaviour.

3. Our workshops are not driving or riding training

Sane Driving workshops focus on attitudes, values and behaviour. They are not a driving school, do not teach vehicle-handling skills, and do not lead to a licence or any certificate recognised by a transport authority unless we say so in writing. You must hold any licence the law requires and follow all traffic laws at all times.

4. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own conduct on the road before, during and after any workshop. Do not operate a vehicle while using a phone, after consuming alcohol or drugs, or when unwell or tired. Nothing we say should be taken as permission to break a traffic rule.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sane Driving, its owners, trainers and staff are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, injury, damage or expense arising from your use of this website, our materials or workshops, or from actions taken or not taken based on them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Workshops, bookings and prices

Prices and workshop details shown on this website or in our documents are indicative and may change. A booking is confirmed only when we agree it in writing. Cancellation, rescheduling and payment terms will be stated in the written quotation or booking confirmation. Organisers who book a workshop for others, such as schools and employers, are responsible for obtaining any consent needed from participants and, for minors, from parents or guardians.

7. Posters, stickers and other products

Product images are illustrative, and colours may vary slightly between screens and print. Return, replacement and delivery terms will be given when you order.

8. Intellectual property

The Sane Driving name, workshop exercises, methods, text, designs, posters and stickers are owned by us or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, record or deliver our exercises or materials, or present them as your own, without our written permission. You may share links to this website.

9. Photos, names and testimonials

We publish photographs, organisation names, logos and quotations only with permission. If you appear in a photo or are named on this site and want it changed or removed, contact us and we will act promptly. Letters and statements shown on our References page express the views of the organisations that wrote them, on the dates shown. They are not guarantees of any result, and the use of an organisation’s name does not mean it endorses anything else we do.

10. Privacy and your information

When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if you give it) and message you submit. We use this only to reply to you, to arrange workshops or orders, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your information. Your message is sent to us by email and kept in our mailbox, and we may keep it for as long as needed for these purposes. Our website host may also keep standard server logs. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, to the extent it applies to us.

11. Links and third parties

This website may link to other websites or load fonts and other resources from third parties, such as Google Fonts. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Delhi, India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
